Every individual has gotten a measure of talent or gift deposited in him or her by God. Your talent is your innate ability. Your talent is that activity that you have the natural capacity to do. Every time you perform this exercise,you derive great pleasure and satisfaction engaging in it. According to Napoleon Hill, he posited that:''The key to success in life is in finding out what you love doing,and then find a way to make a good living doing it.'' The logic here is this, whatever your talent is, you must do it with passion in such a way that it will generate returns for you and provide value for someone else. Are you an artiste,a dancer, a footballer,a stylist, a song writer, or a comedian? In whatever area you are gifted, you must consciously do it right with total dedication and a sense of purpose.

Having discussed what talent is,it is important to know how to identify your special abilities or gifts in your area of calling. The following ways might help you discover the measure of grace and the implanted seed of greatness ingrained in you. The very first step to take before discovering your gift or talent is to discover yourself. You cannot discover your special abilities without discovering your true self. Hence,it is important that you look inward at yourself. Examine the things that gives you joy and inner peace. Discover your area of strength and competence. For some people, they are naturally gifted as comedians. they have the sense of humour to make the greatest saddist to laugh. You too can sit down and look out for the area of your gifting through thorough self examination. Secondly, your talent is always attached to what you do passionately well. Passion gives you the driving force and enthusiasm you need to keep getting better at what you do. Passion gives you the inspiration that will propel your aspiration for whatever you want to become. It is a latent force that can withstand the greatest opposition. Any thing you do continually with great zeal and uncommon enthusiasm might be attached to your talent.
